Group research interests:
The group research focuses on science and engineering for decarbonization of the energy sector using electrocatalysis approach. Through the combination of catalyst design， mechanism investigation， and reaction engineering， we aim todevelop efficient CO2 electrochemical conversion technologies for renewable energy storage and conversion， electrosynthesis of chemicals/fuels，久久精品久久精品这里精品网 and climate change mitigation， as well as unravel the physical and chemical events at the molecular level during the electrocatalysis processes.
The scholarship at City University of Hong Kong is ~hk$17，500 per month at the beginning and ~ hk$18，500 per month after passing qualification. Outstanding candidates will also be recommended to apply to Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). HKPFS established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the HKSAR government， aims to attract the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their research degree programmes in Hong Kong's institutions. The HKPFS fellowship awardees will receive a monthly stipend of HK$27，100 (~US$3，474) and a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$13，600 (~US$1，744) per year for 4 years.
Potential graduate students (including students who will receive/have received the bachelor degree or master degree) who are interested in the topics of sustainable technologies for renewable energy storage & conversion are welcome to contact Dr. Wang at firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV， transcripts， and publications (if applicable). Applicants will have to go through a centralized admission process through the City University of Hong Kong with Dr. Wang's recommendation.
